After a winter with record-breaking levels of rainfall the vines benefited from rather dry weather conditions during their growth cycle. Temperatures remained at seasonal averages putting back harvesting by a week compared to the previous year. Our philosophy of “total quality” came into play even more than in the past – this year, the conditions surrounding every bunch of grapes motivated the choices made as we managed our vineyards
